Sometimes the most basic concepts are the most important to explain and get right. I was tasked with educating a lay jury on the simple concept of patent licensing. Working with an amusement park analogy, playful images, and basic colors, I was able to concisely convey the importance of patent licensing to both patent holders and licensees.
